Air Shifters

An air shifter is a device that moves your shift lever using compressed gases. Common in drag racing, these devices will let you shift gears without backing off the throttle or using the clutch. Attached to the bike’s shift mechanism, an air shifter has a solenoid valve that opens with the press of a button. This lets air into the shift cylinder the same way your foot would.

There are reasons these speedy shifters are so popular in the racing world. They’re faster than shifting gears with your foot, and no one wants a slow motorcycle. They’re also convenient, make it easier to concentrate on your ride, and cause less wear and tear on the gearbox.

Foot Controls & Extensions
